v0 in Cline

Cline is an open-source AI coding assistant for Visual Studio Code that helps plan, edit, and automate development tasks through natural language commands.

You can use v0 inside Cline by configuring it as an OpenAI-compatible API.

1. Install Cline via VS Code Marketplace.

2. Open Cline and click model selector.

3. Under API Provider, select: OpenAI Compatible

4. Set the Base URL: https://api.v0.dev/v1

5. Paste in your v0 API key

6. Set the Model ID: v0-1.0-md

7. Click Verify to confirm the connection.
